When our CEO’s/Dominique entrepreneurial family decided to buy 42 acres of land in Chile to get in the organic blueberry market. Dominique’s family is from Chillán, a small town located in the valley between The Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean in Chile. This area is known for its fertile soil and optimal climate conditions, making it ideal for agriculture.

Not long after they started production, they decided to expand their horizons and establish an Export Company. This strategic move allowed them to have full control over every step of the production and supply chain, ensuring the highest standards of quality and freshness for their organic blueberries.

Dominique, who was originally supposed to continue with the Family Legacy back in Chile, had a different path in mind. In 2016, she decided to embark on a new adventure and moved to Sweden. Little did she know that seven years later, she would have the amazing opportunity to blend her entrepreneurial spirit with her family’s legacy.

Frodas Import was co-founded in Sweden in 2023 by Dominique and Nina as a way of extending Dominique’s family business but they did it with a twist! Besides Importing, Dominique and Nina created The Frodas Foundation as a way of giving back to society.

When people purchase Frodas’ exquisite organic blueberries, they are not only receiving the most flavorful and nutrient-rich fruits but also contributing to the greater good. A percentage of the yearly result will be allocated to The Frodas Foundation, which invests in educational programs, infrastructure development, and environmental initiatives in rural farming communities. By promoting sustainable practices and empowering local farmers, they aim to create a positive and lasting impact on communities and the environment.
